Alright I have the basic terms of the do's and don'ts for creating a character. However here are the guidelines for roleplaying in this community.

1. Characters.

You may have as many characters as you like however you may not use the same character in multiple threads. Meaning Josh for example can not be in the Temple of Eldaras while he is in the Mountain region. Although while Josh is in the temple Martin can be in the mountains. If you wish to travel then you must travel. This is a world Rp one person can't be in two places at once! (If a thread dies then you may contact and Admin or Mod to lock the thread and the you may move your character to a new location)

2. Plots/storyline.

There is always going to be a plot or storyline that the world of Eldaras. This means that there will be a basic Idea in which the admin determine that you can go off and play in. You can choose to be part of the quest meaning you can be good or bad, or you can go outside of the story line EX: being a drifter or what have you. You are not limited to the confines of the story but we are watching for key battles and plot lines that will later be added to the Story of Eldaras.

When it comes to private one on one threads these are allowed as long as they are within the rules of the ToS. Private adventures are most likely not going to be added to the world's storyline. If it is however caught in the eye of one of the mods or admin and they point out how good it is we may ask if we may use it for the story lines. You do have rights as the Author of a side story and it will not be pilfered to be added in, We will ask for consent! It is the two writers choice if we may add it or not. If one agrees while the other does not we won't use it.

Public adventures on the other hand (most likely started by an admin) are for any one wishing to throw a character in and by doing this we reserve the right to use to further advance in the story of Eldaras. If you don't wish them to be used then don't enter these, if they are public they will say so in the title.

3. Sign-up Sheets

Sign up sheets are just that they are PUBLIC sign ups for main story lines. By Signing on these, or rather you requesting to be part of this the character you put in there will become a major part of the story line. This being said inactive characters that don't spend too much time in the main story will either fade into history and be forgotten about, or may be killed off. (depending on the reason for inactivity)

Note: If there is a good reason for the inactivity chances are we will allow that character to continue, but if not then it will be up to you on how your character shall be removed from the plot. However if there is a battle and you don't want to continue then in light of the situation In Character we MUST kill them.
